Padua

Basilica of St. Giustin

Palazzo della Ragione

Padua was the next stop on our continuing survey of northeast Italy. Padua ended up being a much larger city than I expected. Everything was pretty spread out and there was something to see almost everywhere. We had an entire day in Padua and the weather was finally fantastic. We started at the Palazzo della Ragione which is one of the largest covered indoor space without interior columns. It was kinda boring but the roof was interesting - it was constructed like a boat and then flipped over. Then me and a few friends wandered through the city and hit up a few churches and just enjoyed the weather.
