Back in Dublin

St Patrick's Cathedral

Interior of Kilmainham Gaol

My family's last day in Ireland and my second to last was spent back in Dublin. The first place we went to was the famous prison - Kilmainham Gaol. The prison was first built at the end of the 18th century and housed many people including many famous Irish Revolutionaries. The prison was kind of interesting to see but it was more interesting to go through the museum part and read about people during the famine trying to get put in jail on purpose because their they would get food. After that we went to St Patrick's Cathedral but didn't go in we just enjoyed the great weather outside. For dinner I got to have some fantastic fish and chips which I have decided is the perfect food combination for any occasion.
