The project was to produce a semi-permanent solution to emergency relief housing. The site was L'Aquila, Italy - the site of a major earthquake last year. Our project was centered around the idea of flexible building blocks that would be able to transform into commercial use when the need for emergency housing ended. We didn't get to refine the project quite as much as I would have liked but 10 hours is not much time for a project like this.
